The 28th China International Trenchless Technology Conference and Exhibition was successfully held from 23 to 25, April 2025 at Suzhou International Expo Center.
We welcomed 3,931 professional visitors from 26 overseas countries and regions and 34 provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions and special administrative regions across the country. The Expo Center witnessed a total of 8122 visits during the three-day exhibition, and 158 candidates registered to participate in the seminars.

During this year's technical conference and exhibition, Professor Yan Chunwen, Vice-Chairman of CSTT delivered an opening speech, expressing his gratitude to all the guests and experts for their presence. This year's conference continued to set up three thematic presentations of“Pipe Jacking and Tunneling”,“Pipeline Rehabilitation”, and “Horizontal Directional Drilling”, sharing the latest technology and typical construction cases in various fields of the current trenchless technology. The conference continued with the presentation of commemorative certificates to all the guest speakers.
With an exhibition area of more than 20,000 square meters, the exhibition brought together over 124 companies from the trenchless industry to showcase their latest products and technologies. Among the exhibitors, 30 companies made their debut, accounting for 24% of the total exhibitors. 90% of the exhibitors brought dozens of physical exhibits to showcase, with all the raw exhibition space specially decorated, and a majority of the exhibits sold during the exhibition. The exhibition equipment in the performance, quality and concept of further improvement, a full range of trenchless technology in the municipal, oil, electricity, communications, gas and other areas of the construction of the latest development trends and innovative technologies.
ITTC 2025 is presenting the vigorous vitality and development potential of China's trenchless industry with a scale beyond expectation and an ultra-abundance of cutting-edge technologies. The feedback from exhibitors and visitors reflects the growing demand for trenchless technology in China's national economic development. The active participation of foreign experts and reporters, as well as the large number of foreign professional visitors and buyers, on the other hand, show the international market's concern for the development of China's trenchless technology.
ITTC 2024 Exhibition also hosted the “ITTC Reception Gala Dinner and CSTT Annual Awards Ceremony". On behalf of ISTT, Chairman Keh-Jian Shou presented “the 2024 ISTT Nodig Award for Trenchless Project-New Installation”. CSTT presented an honorary certificate and trophy to Mr. Wang Yuanfeng, “2024 China Trenchless Person of the Year”. Annual Academic Research Award went to Associate Professor Wang Lichang, Central South University School of Geosciences and Info-physics. The ITTC Organizing Committee presented certificates to two new 15-year and eleven new 5-year ITTC Quality Exhibitors, as well as 3 Best Organization Award Exhibitors. ITTC 2025 continued with a new product launch. Three companies, including Shareate Tools Ltd. And Hebei Sd Pump Industry Co.,Ltd. presented the release of their latest products and technologies, so that everyone can better understand the good performance and features of the products, and received numerous praises.
A total of 31,035 people viewed, visited, and downloaded photos from the cloud album on the live photo streaming platform of the ITTC 2025 conference. From the start of the preparatory work in March 2024, the organizing committee sent invitations to 1866 industry peers abroad to attend the conference, and released the progress of the event in mid-December 2024 to more than 2000 foreign peers who have long been paying attention to the Chinese market; the organizing committee also sent peer-to-peer SMS invitations to 16,000 domestic professional visitors from the end of December 2024 to one week before the start of the event in April 2025; continuously promoted the event on the CSTT WeChat official account for 100 days before the event date; and continuously adopted on-site real-name identification and face recognition technologies as the standard mode for all exhibitors and visitors to enter the exhibition hall to enhance the quality of professional visitors.
Before the conference, CSTT held a working meeting of the council and expert group, as well as the 2024 China Annual Trenchless Awards Jury Meeting at Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center, where the council members and experts listened to the ITTC2025 organizing reports, ITTC2026 preparation, and 2025 international cooperation plans. At the same time, the 71 committee members and 3 expert members from CSTT selected the annual awards candidates based on the on-site debate delivered by 27 companies and 3 annual person candidates.
