What’s the estimated daily costs in Suzhou, and what’s recommended forms and methods of payment for visitors from abroad?
About 400RMB daily would be good starting point. Casual dining restaurants and chain eateries provide a wider range of options. A meal for one in a mid-range restaurant typically costs between 60 to 150RMB, while street café costs below 50RMB.
International Visa or Mastercard: These are commonly accepted in larger restaurants and tourist major attractions.
Alipay and WeChat Pay: These are the two most widely used payment apps in China, accepted at almost every merchant, from street vendors to luxury stores. To use them, you can link an international Visa or Mastercard, or open a Chinese bank account through partner services.
VTB QR Code Payment: Russia's VTB Bank will launch its QR code payment service in China. This service will allow Russian tourists to make payments using their VTB bank accounts, similar to how they do in Russia.
While digital payments dominate, it’s still advisable to carry some cash.
Small Bills: When exchanging cash, request small denominations (like 10 RMB, 20 RMB, and 50 RMB notes) as it can be difficult to get change for large bills in some places.
Do you issue invitation letter to help visitor and exhibitor with visa application?
We do issue invitation letter for professional visitors and exhibitors to apply for visa to attend ITTC. Please contact us with detailed requirements and company info, or submit a draft invitation letter for the organizing committee’s editing and approval. Please note that we do not invitation letter to non-professional visitors.
For Visa application, we have successfully submitted visa documents at Consulate of China. Can you send email to Consulate of China to help expedite the process?
Visa applications typically follow a strict, standardized review procedure, sending separate email will not expedite the visa approval process. Please apply to Chinese visa 3 months in advance or use the visa-exempt policy if applicable in your country.
The price for a standard 3 × 3 m booth is listed with CSTT members price and non-CSTT members price. What’s the difference between these two options?
If you have a CSTT membership or ISTT membership, the member's price would apply when you book a booth at ITTC. Both organizations welcome new members to join.
Regarding the application process: Is it sufficient to submit the exhibitor registration form and settle the invoice, or are there any additional steps or requirements the applicant should be aware of?
No additional steps need to be taken during the application process. Once the application is approved, our staff will contact you for specific instructions regarding booth setup, freight forwarding services, or other onsite regulations.
